About

Qdan Inc. is an app studio in Kichijoji, Tokyo. We plan, build, and operate games for people gathered in one place — and tools that make everyday life a little more playful.

What we do

We plan, build, and operate smartphone apps in-house, mostly party games. From planning and development to design, operations, and support, we team up with engineers and designers inside and outside the company, producing every stage of our apps and games ourselves.

We are a very small app studio run by a team of two — Saito (engineer) and Sato (director). Staying small keeps decisions fast and lets the same eyes follow every detail from planning to operations — we use that to engage honestly with what makes things fun, and to deliver services from many different angles.

Adapting analog games and web services

Working closely with rights holders to bring new fans to the original works, we officially adapt analog games and web services into apps. We care about UI/UX that keeps the original games fun, and about making each app easy to use on a smartphone.

    Branding & design by Sai Beppu. Inside Dokopa, we have brought titles online such as "Quiz Iisen Ikima SHOW!" (Arclight), Goita (Noto Goita Preservation Society), and "Minna de DanDan Tier!" (TANSAN).

Media coverage

Our apps have been featured across a wide range of media — TV shows such as "Ousama no Brunch" and "School Kakumei!", magazines including nicola and Seventeen, newspapers such as the Hokkoku Shimbun, and gameplay and review videos on YouTube by many VTubers, game streamers, and TV personalities.

Inquiries
