Instead of a yes-or-no checklist, ExpMap records how deeply you experienced each place. Thirty-eight countries can be colored state by state (1,033 regions in all), and a travel note can be attached to every country and state. Maps and Exp scores can be exported as images to share. A party game app for people who are already in the same room, played by passing a single smartphone around. The screen shows whose turn it is by name and icon, so the phone just moves to the next person as the game leads them through it. Because it needs no connection at all, it works in basements, on trains, and anywhere else without a signal. Player counts vary by game: the roulette and dice tools work for one, chess is for two, and bingo takes up to 100. It is free to start and available in 15 languages, including English and Japanese. Where Dokopa is built for playing remotely over a voice call, PartyAt is built for the moments everyone is together.

Every level carries its own point value, and as you fill them in the map of Japan colors itself, showing at a glance where you have and have not been. Several maps can be kept at once, so a family can hold separate records, or one person can track a year at a time.

Over 1,400 prompts are included, across categories such as food, daily life, hobbies, and romance. A round runs about five minutes, which suits parties and idle waiting. A “conversation hint” button is there for anyone playing for the first time.
